Welcome to my practise. This is a counselling space in which all members of the LGBTQIA+ community, people of colour and other marginalised identities find safety and belonging. I infuse theories from both Social Work and Psychology to develop the most suitable treatment plans and therapeutic interventions for clients.
I journey with my clients in navigating early childhood trauma, black tax, work-related stress, relationship troubles, grief & bereavement, depression and anxiety, and other psycho-social conditions.
Over the past 7 years I have gained experience in clinical settings, public health research, education and most recently in corporate social investment.
From working in acute care and forensic psychiatry, I developed key competencies in Psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic and family intervention, and evaluating treatment outcomes. Through my private practise these skills have been refined and perfected.
I am also a published researcher and mental health advocate whose work has received recognition globally.
